Common questions

I'm not getting my OTP code.

Codes arrive by SMS within 30 seconds. If yours doesn't, tap 'Resend code'. If it still doesn't arrive, check that your phone signal is strong, and that the number you entered is correct including the country dial code (+232 for Sierra Leone).

How do I pay for an Eats order?

Cash on delivery is selected by default — pay the driver when your food arrives. You can also tap 'Pay with card' at checkout to use a Visa or Mastercard via our secure card reader.

How does Padi handle my data?

Phone number to log you in, location only when you actively use rides or delivery, and payment info handled by Stripe (we never store full card numbers). Read the full Privacy Policy for the details.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Your profile, messages, and contacts are removed. We retain financial records as required by Sierra Leonean law.

I'm a driver / restaurant / shop — how do I sign up?

Open the app, tap Profile, then 'Become a partner'. Drivers need a license and vehicle docs; restaurants and shops need a few photos and a contact number. We review applications within 48 hours.

Does Padi work outside Sierra Leone?

Right now Padi is launching in Freetown first. We'll expand to Bo, Kenema, and Makeni as we onboard drivers and merchants there. The diaspora can use chat and Discover from anywhere.

I think I've been scammed on Marketplace.

Tap the listing → 'Report' and pick 'Suspected scam'. Our moderation team reviews reports within 24 hours. We strongly recommend meeting in public places and inspecting items before paying.

How do I report a bad driver / order / post?

Every trip, order, and post has a 'Report' option. Tap it, pick the reason, and our team handles it. Severe issues (safety, harassment) are escalated immediately.
